Australian Machinery was established in 1991 and is one of Australia’s pioneer companies involved with the importation of used construction and road making equipment, new agricultural implements and power equipment, materials handling and site equipment as well as fuel and lubes transfer equipment.
Australian Machinery is home to brands such as Fuel Pods, Workmate, Mobileloo, Alloy Ramps, Skip Bins, Skid Steer Tyres, Trailers, Machinery Attachments and many other leading imported products. Having established companies in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, New Zealand as well as supply chain and importation from throughout China, Canada, Eastern Europe and the Asia Pacific Region, Australian Machinery has evolved to become one of Australia’s leading importers and distributors of machinery and industrial equipment.
Warehousing
Australian Machinery has 300,000 square feet of facilities based at North Geelong about one hour South of Melbourne and within close proximity to International Airports as well as the major shipping ports of Melbourne and Geelong. The North Geelong facilities are located adjacent to the Ring Road by pass and close to all major arterials. Head office for Australian Machinery accommodates Warehousing, Distribution, Product Marketing, Washing and Unpacking, Assembly and Distribution Nationally both to every Capital City along with an extensive dealer and reseller network.
Assembly and Branding
Australian Machinery specialises in the Assembly, Pre delivery, Branding and Certification of Imported products. Our Marketing and Business Development team can create advertising and promotional strategies across print, internet and social media as well as supportive campaigns for products to enhance sales growth and market share. Transport and Distribution
Australian Machinery owns and operates a dedicated fleet of Transporters, Tilt Trays and Container handling equipment to support its activities of importation, quarantine clearance and the sales and distribution of imported products. The Fleet comprises Prime Movers, Tilt Trays, Container Side Loaders, Franna Cranes, Telescopic Handlers and Forklifts from Container Access up to and including 15 tons.
The independence of our own fleet ensures prompt reliable service and support for both our clients, dealers and resellers Australia Wide. Offering door to door service for both on line sales as well as sales and distribution throughout our Dealer Network Australia wide, having our own extensive Transport Fleet enables prompt efficient service and support whether from Boat to Warehouse or from Dealer to Consumer.
Custom and Quarantine
Australian Machinery is licensed by Australian Quarantine and Customs to handle imported products. Used Machinery and Equipment can be washed and prepared for reassembly in our Barwon Water Approved Water Recycling Wash Bay and we are also licensed to wash, prepare and pack used equipment items for export. Australian Machinery uses Gavos Freight Services exclusively for all our Customs and Importation Documentation. We recommend GFS for Freight forwarder and Customs Brokerage due to their expert advice in all facets of international air and sea freight forwarding including consolidation logistics, break bulk services and personal effects as well as in-house Customs clearance.
Australia Wide Dealer Network
Australian Machinery has an extensive Network of Dealers and Licensed resellers for all the products that are imported for the Australian and New Zealand Markets. Australian Machinery’s network covers every Capital City in Australia as well as resellers within most major regional towns and cities across Australia. Australian Machinery also provides an eshop for all smaller products sold and distributed with services offered including front door delivery via TNT, Startrack and Australia Post as delivery options.
